About Kristin

Kristin Boggiano, Chair of the Board and the President of Women in Derivatives (WIND) and the Chief Legal Officer and on the Executive Committee of AlphaPoint, a blockchain, fintech company that enables institutions to launch and operate digital asset networks and exchanges worldwide. Prior to AlphaPoint, Kristin was a Managing Director with Guggenheim Partners, where she advised on asset management, broker-dealer and insurance issues. Previous to Guggenheim, Kristin spent 16 years as a Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel where she structured complex products, launched private businesses and provided regulatory advice. Prior to Schulte, Kristin worked at Merrill Lynch on the derivatives desk, beginning her career with stints at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). Kristin has advised entities in overall legal and regulatory strategy and governance and with operational, regulatory and risk management procedures and programs.
Kristin is an avid writer on financial related topics and a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars. She is a founder, Chair of the Board and the President of Women in Derivatives (WIND). Kristin earned her law degree and MBA from Northeastern University and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
